Hello!  Welcome to Munnellys of County Mayo!  Of course this site is for anyone interested in any of the name variants - Manley, Monnelly, Munley, etc. ( I happen to be a Manley) - and you can be from anywhere in the world!  County Mayo in Ireland is simply where the name seems to originate.  Please enjoy these photos from my trip, and see what else this site has to offer.  Check back occasionally to see what's been added, and use the blog to meet others researching the same family name, and to let me know how I can improve the site.  The 2012 Reunion was amazing!  Check out the pictures on the reunion tab!

February 2013 - I've added Jim Steele's extensive family history to the 'Histories' page.  There is a lovely all-name index on the last pages to make it easy for you to see if your names are there. Just a few of the names are Quinn, Coyne, Barrett, Loftus, Lally, and Munley - of course!  (Hold your curser over the 'Histories' tab...then find his name).  You might also be interested in the Munnelly tombstones in the Geesala Graveyard that I photographed during the reunion.
